Utility Integration

This group will work on issues relating to communication between building automation and control systems and utility providers.

Status

This group has published the Load Control Object (Addendum e to BACnet-2004) which allows for load shedding of BACnet devices. Work is proceeding now in several areas: working with outside groups to help standardize load shedding and real-time pricing communication; access of data from meters; and strategy and tools for implementing load shedding within a facility.
