Interest in BACnet is now worldwide. BACnet is on its way to becoming, or has already become, an American, European, Korean, and international standard. Driven by user demand for a standard communication protocol for building automation and control systems, BACnet has spawned the creation of three BACnet Interest Groups, the most recent in Australia.
